Emerging Leaders RetreatThe Emerging Leaders Retreat is a 3-day, 2 night retreat designed specifically for a limited number of incoming Emory freshmen. Each year, the retreat typically takes place during the first weekend after Labor Day.This exciting retreat is being coordinated through the Office of Student Leadership & Service and led by 5 diversely involved sophomores called Program Coordinators or PCs. Throughout the weekend, these students will not only provide you with information specific to Emory, but also about the ins and outs of college life. Our schedule is packed with useful information, presentations, and group activities that will help you find your footing and have fun. For those who are interested in beginning, or continuing, their leadership involvement at the collegiate level- we will show you how to make that a reality! In addition to learning about the Emory community, you will also meet and work closely with other potential freshman leaders. It's a great way to wrap up Orientation Week and make your mark on Emory. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Openings are limited to the first 50 students who register. Space fills up quickly so fill out the application and register soon. This opportunity costs $145.00 and includes all food, lodging and transportation for the retreat. Once space has been confirmed your registration fee is non-refundable.
