Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions aims to provide meaningful leadership and service opportunities through our numerous programs. Whether you're an incoming first-year student or graduating senior, a graduate student or in a professional school program  we have a leadership experience waiting for you!

Get Involved

Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions has the privilege of working with some of the most engaged students at Emory University. These awards and recognition programs are our way of thanking them for their commitment to Emory University.

New Student Orientation is a collaboration between Emory College of Arts and Sciences and Emory Campus Life that strives to successfully and holistically acclimate all new students  first-year, transfer students, and Oxford Continuees  into the academic and social fabric of Emory College. The New Student Orientation Program will provide the opportunity for students to begin building relationships with faculty, staff, current students and their new classmates to prepare for their future in the Emory University learning community.

We also acknowledge that families are an important part of a student's transition to college, and we will involve them when appropriate.

New Student Orientation will provide opportunities for current students to develop their own leadership skills by providing them with hands-on experience as either Orientation Leaders or Captains.
