SOAR Awards Application Open
|
The annual Student Organization Achievement and Recognition (SOAR) Awards application process is now open through February 28. The Emory community is invited to recognize the key players in organizational and leadership development across campus for their outstanding achievements and service.

Last Chance: Collaborate with Dooley After Dark
|
Dooley After Dark is committed to supporting the diverse needs of the student population at Emory University. Any registered student organization, club, group, or department may take advantage of Dooley After Dark co‐programming support and funding to enhance their campus program. Applications for spring collaborations close on Feb. 28.

Save the date! Cedric Blatch joins our next Advisor Support Series session on Feb. 20. This session will focus on how to keep members engaged, recruit new members, and foster a sense of belonging. Advisors will receive an invitation in their inbox for the session.

As we transition to a new platform for The Hub, we need your help in ensuring that your organization’s important documents—such as constitutions, charter letters, and rosters—are properly maintained. Keeping these records up to date is essential for your organization’s recognition and smooth operations.
We will share more details on this transition soon, including steps you’ll need to take to keep your organization’s information current. Stay tuned for updates!

Resource Highlight of the Month
|
Emory Day of Giving (EDOG) is an annual 36-hour fundraising event that unites alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to support various programs and initiatives across the university. This year's EDOG is taking place from March 26-27.
Last year, donors contributed $46,570 to support registered student organizations. For any questions, please contact Robert Wallace Jr at rswalla@emory.edu.

Student organization leaders are responsible for keeping their roster of members and officers up to date on The Hub, especially during officer transitions. Maintaining an accurate roster ensures your organization stays in good standing and that the right leaders receive important communications.

RSOs can request supplemental funding from their Divisional Council or Executive Agency.

STEER Team is a dedicated group of student leaders who work with Student Involvement Leadership and Transitions to support and enhance student involvement at Emory University.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, the Center for Civic and Community Engagement will host Emory’s Black History Day of Service to honor the achievements and contributions of Black people in the United States by prioritizing our civic and community-engaged mission.
Five different service opportunities are scheduled, leaving from the ESC at 9:30 a.m.
