Transfer Student Programs

SILT offers a variety of programs and services designed exclusively for transfer students. From events during Transfer Orientation to opportunities to get involved and stay connected via the Emory Transfer Student Organization (ETSO). SILT is here to support all transfer students in their transition to Emory.

Transfer Student Orientation Programs

August 24: Transfer Happy Hour + Campus Tour

Enjoy some charcuterie, appetizers, and mocktails with current and former transfer students! The happy hour is followed by a campus tour that you will not want to miss.

August 25: Transfer Welcome Brunch + Coke Toast (required for Emory College students)

Join your fellow transfer students as you kick-off Orientation with an Emory tradition- the Coke Toast! Brunch will be served and students will have a chance to meet their academic advisors and peers throughout the event.

August 25: Transfer Essentials Advising (required for Emory College students)

The Transfer Essentials group presentation will cover general advising information and give you a chance to ask questions about academics at Emory.

August 26: Off-Campus Social

Gather with new and current Transfer students to enjoy an evening of food, fun, and games! Transportation will be provided.
