Guidelines, Policies, and Processes

Violations of university policies, state, and federal laws also constitute violations of the Student Code of Conduct. The Student Code of Conduct, as well as the university policies, apply not only to individuals, but also to student organizations. In the spirit of collective responsibility, student organizations bear a certain level of responsibility for the individual actions of their organization members when this behavior is part of an organization activity, or the action of the individual represents the organization norms.

Student organizations are responsible for knowing and abiding by all university policies and applicable laws, and for following specific Student Involvement, Leadership, and Transitions – Recognized Student Organization policies.
